Tonight, Scripture Study on Sirach at Guardian Angels; Christ in the City Friday

Wednesday, September 28th: We will be joining in on a study of the book of Sirach at Guardian Angels Parish (6000 Preston Hwy) 7:00pm. The study will be held in the parish office to the right of the Church. Following the study we will go to Hometown Pizza (4041 Preston Hwy) for food and to socialize.

Friday, September 30th: We will be joining Christ in the City this month at Mount St. Francis. After the Holy Hour and Confessions there will be a bonfire. Please bring a few dollars to pitch in for food and the use of their facilities. 7pm (101 St Anthony Drive, Mt. St. Francis, IN 47146)

Wednesday, October 5th: We will participate in 40 Days for Life by praying in front of the abortion mill at 2nd and Market for 7pm-8pm. Afterwards, we will walk to Impellizzeri’s Pizza for food and fellowship.

Wednesday, October 12th: Come celebrate the Feast of St. Louis Bertrand with us as we near the parish’s anniversary celebration of 150 years! Fr. Martin Martiny, OP will be giving us a guided tour of the Church, while telling us a bit more about St. Louis Bertrand himself.  Meet at 7pm in the parish center.

Wednesday, October 19th: We will listen to Archbishop Charles Chaput, OFM Cap., give his 2010 talk “Render Unto Caesar,” which discusses the connection between our Catholic faith and the political spectrum. While the Archbishop gave the talk in 2010, the talk is still highly relevant today. After listening to the talk we will discuss how the talk can help us with politics today.  7pm in the parish center.

Wednesday, October 26th: Are you wondering about Islam? Come be informed as Fr. Joseph-Mary Hertzog O.P. will be giving “An Introduction to Islam for Christians.” 7pm in the Parish Center

Sunday, October 30th: Give back to God and the Church by helping out with the All Saints Party for Children. The Young Adult Group will be in charge of a Saint Trivia room. Please consider helping out. Email Katie to signup to help!

Wednesday, November 2nd: Join us to celebrate the feasts of All Saints and All Souls Day. 7pm in the Parish Center

St Louis Bertrand Young Adults is a group of Catholic young adults aged 18-35 in Louisville, KY who meet each week at St Louis Bertrand Catholic Church to socialize and grow in their Faith. (You do not need to be a member of the parish to join us.)

Walking Bridge tonight at 7pm, Walk for Life Saturday!

Tonight, Wednesday, September 7th: Join us for walking the Big Four Walking Bridge! We will pray the Rosary as we cross and have food and drinks on the Indiana side. Meet at 7pm at the foot of the bridge on the Kentucky side.

Saturday, September 10th: We will be attending the Louisville Walk for Life. The walk will start at Trinity High School at 10am, registration starts at 9am. Come Support Life!

Wednesday, September 14th: Have you ever wondered what kind of effect social media plays in the growth of your spiritual life. Come hear Fr. Joseph-Mary Hertzog, OP talk to us on “Social Media and the Spiritual Life”.  7pm in the Parish Center.

Wednesday, September 21st: We will learn a little bit more about St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta.  More information to be announced.  Meet at 7pm in the parish center.
